Edwin R. Wood Death – Killed In An Accident
Following report of the victim in a multi-vehicle wreck on Highway 143 north of Montgomery, The deceased has been identified.
According to Trooper Michael Carswell, Edwin R. Wood aged 71, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident on Thursday afternoon.
About 2 p.m, Law enforcement and medical examiners responded to the incident in the area of Peninsula Boulevard in Montgomery County close to 176 exit on the northbound lanes of Interstate 65.
The Millbrook man was killed when the 1995 GMC C1500 he was driving collided with a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado.
The incident retard traffic for several hours as first responders worked.
