Elijah Weatherspoon’s body was found in a river after he was the only black man on a boat with several other white men in SC…the police won’t investigate. & then I see this comment.. I am overwhelmed with the evil and the audacity of some people… Pure ignorance and pure hate.

Thursday night (06-25-2020) 18 year old Elijah Weatherspoon(“Nicky”) joined 7 other “Friends” on a boat at Cooper River. Hours later he was reported missing by those same “Friends.”This vibrant, active teen who recently graduated high school had plans like any other teen, but it was cut short due to foul play. Those “Friends” were able to make it safely home that night. Nicky never did.
The investigators are no longer willing to pursue his unexplainable disappearance, nor further investigate the discrepancies in the “Friends’ ” versions of what occurred that night.
The local news isn’t willing to help either! To them he is just another black man that should have known how to swim before getting on the boat. BUT… He actually could swim though… and to his family he was just a baby… and to all that knew him (and even those that don’t-but cared enough to read this post), HE DESERVES MORE THAN A MEDIOCRE 2-DAY SEARCH!!!
Nicky’s family can not rest until his body is found, or he is brought safely home.
💜For some hope is child-like; and faith is reserved for Bible-toting fanatics… but to a Family that has received unimaginable news such as this-Faith &Hope is all that is left.
