Deer at Night
Ginny watched in awe as the fire grew larger and illuminated the darkness around her. As she continued to add more logs to the fire, Ginny was suddenly startled by movement off in the distance. Through the orange and yellow glow of the fire, she was able to make out a figure of a deer standing in the shadows of the trees. It was the deer who had made the noise that woke her up. But as soon as it noticed the fire, it quickly ran away.
