Sad to hear that former Blues coach Fred Davies has passed away at the age of 81. He was a great goalkeeper at Wolves, Bournemouth & Cardiff. He was assistant to John Bond at Blues & worked closely with the youth team. He was also manager at Shrewsbury 1993-1997 RIP #BCFC

All at the FPA are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our former goalkeeper Fred Davies, at the age of 81. Fred made 173 appearances for Wolves & was part of the 1966/67 squad which won promotion from the Second Division.Our sincere condolences to Fred’s family & friends.
