I had honor of meeting Fred Uhlman Sr. years before his son became the assistant general manager of the #Padres. Sr. was a true baseball man and a caring leader. Son much the same. Losing Sr. today a tough blow for baseball. But Jr. carries on the tradition. RIP Fred Uhlman Sr.
