Gary Goldberg Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Gary Goldberg.

This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital (QNHCH) is deeply saddened to announce today that its chief medical officer, Dr. Gary Goldberg, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home today. He was 59.
QNHCH President Cindy Kamikawa said, “It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague Dr. Gary Goldberg. Gary has been an emergency physician for over 30 years including over 20 years here at QNHCH. Gary served as our emergency medicine physician director starting in 2005 and was named chief medical officer in 2015.”
“With Gary’s leadership, QNHCH recently opened a new emergency room almost 15 years in the making. Dr. Goldberg’s accomplishments as a leader are surpassed only by his commitment to caring for our community, and every day he worked to fulfill his commitment to exceptional patient care,” said Cindy Kamikawa. “He will be greatly missed—by his beloved family, by his colleagues whom he respected so deeply, by people from around the world who entrusted him with their care, and by the members of our community.”
Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, and was certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
“The entire Queen’s family mourns this loss. On behalf of our board of trustees, management team and employees, we extend our deepest sympathies to Gary Goldberg’s family. Dr. Goldberg brought his remarkable passion, experience and warmth to provide compassionate, quality medical care to the people of Hawai’i Island,” said Kamikawa.
