As I have always said,we are a highly religious
people living in,and with many doctrinal
contradictions that we hardly give thought to. U often
find that both in christianity and islam there are sharp
differences in beliefs and practices of the
denominations and sects of each religion.Yet,despite these differences some go into what they call
“COMBINED NON-DENOMINATIONAL CHURCH SERVICE OF
UNITY to pray to God for world peace and unity.But the
world has never had peace.
It is a known fact that God is Omniscient,Omnipotent
and Omnipresent.So,if God is everywhere at all times,why do our religious leaders and teachers
identify other lands outside Nigeria as HOLY LANDS to
which they go On pilgrimage to recieve the blessings
of God.?Is that not saying that the glory of God has
long departed from this country?I personally do not
believe that these runs we make to other lands are trully God seeking trips. When they make these
travells,they return with what they call holy water
and oils which are not superior in essence to what we
have here,
