Graeme Whitnall 25/04/1952 – 05/08/2021 The club is saddened to have to inform our Warriors family of the passing of Life member and club favorite Graeme Whitnall. Whitters, Pops, Old Man Whitters, Casey are a few names he will be fondly remembered by. A true gentleman and great mate to all who have passed through the doors of the Lalor Cricket Club. Whitters service to the club spanned over four decades as a player and committee member. He held several important positions at the club including Vice President and Barman. The later a position he loved. You would never get a warm beer under his watch. Towards the end of his service to the club he was known as the Grumpy Old Barman and we all loved getting in to him about it. Truth be known the service he gave the club during this period had a major influence on our club surviving and continuing to prosper today. Whitters was an extremely generous man with both his money and time, he supported many of his mates in many different ways, he was a great servant to our club, but most of all he was a great mate who is going to be sadly missed. A truly sad day for the Warriors. Thinking of you Uncle Graeme I hope your at peace and you’ve found Rohey and that you two are kicking the footy around. We miss you, it wont be the same. We will think of you when we have a drink and think of you when we go on our camping trips.
