Hayne Hipp Death – Dead | Obituary – Passed Away

Hayne Hipp Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Hayne Hipp.

Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.

This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.

Outside of my immediate family and my wife, I can think of very few that have had a more direct influence on my life’s path than Hayne Hipp. When I found out about his passing last night I was – and still am – at a total loss. What a giant in his community, in South Carolina, and beyond.

Several years ago he saw something in me I hadn’t seen in myself. I suspect there are a number of people in South Carolina who can say something similar. I’m forever indebted to Hayne for the investment he made in my growth and development. At the time I became a part of the Liberty Fellowship, I was the youngest person to have done so. There were times I just didn’t understand… why me? Years later, I still occasionally ask myself that question but mostly I remember the commitments I made to Hayne: to grow as a values-based leader, to make a difference, to “do something about it,” and to remain steadfastly committed to creating a more just society. My hope today and everyday is that Hayne feels I am living up to my end of the deal.

Hayne was a friend, a mentor, and a guiding light. There will be more to say and thankfully there will be plenty of words written more eloquently than mine. Know that he deserves every bit of praise he will receive, and most importantly, I hope that we were sufficient in “giving him his flowers while he lived

All of us at OSMD mourn the passing of our friend Hayne Hipp. He always made us laugh and never let us get away with anything. He would bring us articles to read, and funny cartoons to brighten our day. It was nice knowing he was just a couple of blocks away up on the top floor of 135 S. Main. Greenville won’t be the same without him. This is a great photo ♡, and exactly how we want to remember Hayne.

We are devastated to learn of Hayne Hipp’s passing. Hayne was a founding member of Public Education Partners in 1985 (what was then called the Alliance for Quality Education) and was deeply committed to student achievement and strong public schools.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Hipp family and offer the following statements in his honor.

My deep condolences to the Hipp Family on the passing of Hayne Hipp, and to our wonderful “Liberty Life Insurance Company” family. He leaves a wonderful legacy in his hometown.

We are still working on getting more details about the death, as a family statement on the death is yet to be released.
