John Loxley Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished John Loxley.

Tragic news: John Loxley, U of M economist, poverty activist and economic adviser to govts of Manitoba, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar, & Mozambique, has died. We worked together on preserving the archives of Indigenous business leaders and he was wonderful to know and learn from.

Very very sad to learn of the passing of John Loxley – scholar, economist, and social justice warrior. Fierce Advocate for Indigenous peoples. He left the world a much better place.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of John Loxley. John was a champion for social justice and a long time resident of Winnipeg North. Please read this bio to read about a life well-lived. My condolences to his family and friends.
