On a big day for Irish racing, sad news of the passing of Johnny Kierans, late of Anglo Printers in Drogheda, printers of race cards for most Irish tracks, Racing Calendar, Form Book, tickets etc. A lovely man to deal with, Johnny had a real passion for horse racing. RIP.

Mr John H. Kierans founder of Anglo Printers passed away peacefully this morning, after a short illness, aged 80. Johnny was a pioneer in the Irish Print Industry, After 29 years with the Drogheda Independent Group he left to set up Anglo Printers. RIP
