June was a woman of great strength and intelligence and so very caring. She was all set for a career in Fashion years ago when Woody got a job playing drums in The Spiders From Mars. She is survived by her children and grandchildren. »
June Woodmansey, wife of Woody, the last living Spider of Mars, has passed away. A marriage, their, lasting more than 47 years, celebrated just a couple of days later after Bowie’s unexpected ′′ firing ′′ of the Spiders from Mars at Hammersmith Odeon in London on July 3, 1973. Also If the photo doesn’t emerge, in those days Woody Woodmansey had death in his heart. June Woodmansey was a discreet but still important character in the Spiders and glam rock saga.
