My recently-wed cousin’s husband Kage Allen was a US fighter pilot and went down over the North Sea on a training mission and has passed away. I’ve always had respect for our military, but it never hit this close to home. I am so grateful for true American heroes like him.

Deeply saddened to learn the
@USAirForce
pilot was Utah’s own 1st Lt. Kenneth “Kage” Allen—a young man known for his faith, kindness, and patriotism. Ann and I send our thoughts and our prayers to Kage’s wife Hannah, his friends, and loved ones.

The F-15C pilot who died yesterday has now been named as Lt ‘Kage’ Allen. He’d only just married. My condolences to his young widow in these desperately sad circumstances. There is no reason at all to suppose pilot error.
