Kevin Dobson Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Kevin Dobson.

I’m very saddened to hear of #KevinDobson‘s passing. Knots Landing is one of my all time favorite TV shows. I loved Mack Mackenzie. My condolences go out to his family. Rest in peace, Kevin.#RIPKevinDobson #RIPKevin

RIP #KevinDobson From Kojak to Knots Landing, truly a great actor. Just finished watching all those old Kojak episodes as he played ‘Crocker’ and he was so great in that. Sad news

Really sad to hear of the passing of Kevin Dobson, who played Mack MacKenzie on Knots Landing. He was one of the greatest and most authentic characters on the show and had so many memorable partnerships with the likes of Sumner, Paige, Frank, Peggy, Val – and his beloved Karen

Saddened to read of the passing of Kevin Dobson. Condolences to his wife, children, extended family and friends. Kevin played the part of Mack MacKenzie on the “Dallas” spin-off “Knots Landing” from 1982 to 1993 and again for the reunion miniseries in 1997. He was 77.

Come on, man. Not Mack. On Knots Landing, Michele Lee (Karen) and him had one of the best marriages on TV. Like, you believed they were a real couple. And you had no doubt Karen was always well-protected with Mack around. RIP to Kevin Dobson (🙏🏾). Praying for his family tonight.

Rip Kevin Dobson who played Detective Bobby Crocker on Kojak & Mack Mackenzie on Knots Landing. Wow, this year is really sucking. To many of our stars, TV, Movies, Sports & Singers R Leaving us for good. We need to get rid of this year already. God Bless The Dobson Fam.

We’re sad to hear of the death of #KevinDobson (1943-2020) — star of KOJAK and KNOTS LANDING.

Before his acting career, he served in the @USArmy for 8 years + became a tireless advocate for veterans.

My heart is broken. Knots Landing was such a special thing for my mom and me, and we both loved him and Michele Lee together so much. We thought no one could replace Don Murray. We were wrong. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP #KevinDobson

#RIP Just learned that actor & US Veterans advocate Kevin Dobson died Sept. 6 of a heart attack at age 77. Known for his TV roles (Kojak, Knots Landing) I thought he was terrific as Barbra Streisand’s overbearing husband in the film “All Night Long” (1981).

Rest in Peace American film and television actor Kevin Dobson (March 18, 1943 – September 6, 2020), well known as Detective Bobby Crocker (pictured right) on the CBS crime drama Kojak, and as Mack MacKenzie on the soap opera Knots Landing.

Oh, no, dear, sweet Kevin Dobson! I adored him. This pic is from LOVE LETTERS (thank you, Shelley Herman), a play we did as a fundraiser at the Group Rep Theatre. Kevin was a kind, caring, loving man. He always supported the Veterans. So many wonderful stories! RIP Kevin!

Just found out Kevin Dobson, who played Mack MacKenzie on Knots Landing, has died. I had such a crush on Mack when I was a little girl. One of the white knights of prime-time soaps, the good guy I always liked & admired. Mack & Karen were a couple for the ages. RIP, Kevin Dobson.

Kevin Dobson, the actor best known for playing Mack in “Knots Landing,” Detective Bobby Crocker on “Kojak” and Mickey Horton in “Days of Our Lives,” died Sunday.

Kevin Dobson a great and generous actor passed. I remember him for his friendship a gracious, open minded actor with ideas to augment a scene and didnt mind if ideas gave it toYOU. We had fun. @Carafotes12 @taiskates @lmvitale @hardy985 @take2radio @KnotsLanding @HowardStern

I am very sad. Kevin Dobson passed away yesterday. We worked together years ago and he was an amazing man. I wish I had been given time to say goodbye. Godspeed Kevin.

Sad to report the passing of Army Veteran & actor #KevinDobson, who played the role of M. Patrick “Mack” MacKenzie on #Dallas spin-off Knots Landing. Kevin died September 6 following undisclosed medical complications. He was 77. R.I.P. & sympathies to all who knew and loved him.

R.I.P. Kevin Dobson
I grew up watching this man act, first as “Bobby Crocker” on “Kojak” and then for more than a decade as “Mack Mackenzie” on “Knots Landing.”
The United Veterans Council of San Joaquin Valley (he was once a chairman of the nonprofit group) announced on Facebook Dobson died yesterday, although no other information about his death is available at this moment.
“The Hollywood Reporter” says Kevin worked as a waiter, a bartender and a railroad conductor before he decided acting was his calling. I’m glad he made that decision.
He’s seen here as a young man with the late screen legend Mae West.
Kevin Dobson was 77.
