say their names and know their stories, Kirvan Fortuin & Oluwatoyin Salau. two beautiful people who were committed to fighting for human rights and equality, but who were failed by our society. I am heartbroken & outraged to see such young, inspirational black souls taken from us

May your beautiful and loving soul rest in eternal peace. #KirvanFortuin
They did so much for POC in the creative industry and their voice will live on through the art they’ve left behind.

Remembering the life of Kirvan Fortuin, a South African based dancer who was killed in the very neighborhood he went to give back to. He was an award-winning dancer and choreographer whose life was stolen. Rest in Power Kirvan.
