What happened to missing woman with cognitive issues

Reports reaching us reveals that the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for 89-year-old Lauretta Ballentine Okeeffe.

The department is growing increasingly worried for her welfare and are asking the public to help lookout for her. She is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for the her after she was reported missing from Union County on Wednesday.

Ms. Okeeffe was last seen on 16 November, 2021. She was traveling to an appointment in Matthews.

Officials say she was last seen wearing a light blue jumpsuit on Stevens Mill Road in Stallings.

A vehicle description was provided of a white 2003 Lexus LS-430 with North Carolina license plate number: TSS-5676.
