I was sitting at Whitfield waiting for our league game to start and Lou Potsou comes up to me to tell me how sweet he thinks my jump shot is…Big Lou was one of the people who could make you feel like you had made it. Lou was the man! RIP!

Sad to hear the news of the passing of Lou Potsou. A great basketball fan and a great man. Knew how to treat people, loved youth sports. The basketball shootouts at Mizzou in the ’80’s were about lifetime memories for the kids. Thinking of you
@whitfieldhoops
and your family.

Like Joel…At 9 years old Lou Potsou ask my Dad to have me join as well. So many memories of my childhood were because him. One of my fondest were the basketball shootouts at Mizzou. He was a legend for youth basketball in STL. He did it for the kids and never for the money.
