The actress Luo Pei-ying (羅霈穎), a veteran of Taiwan’s variety show circuit, was found dead at her home in Taipei late Monday after failing to appear at a gathering with friends the day before, according to Taipei City Police
Pei-ying had been uncontactable over the last few days and a friend went to her home at 9pm — only to find the 59-year-old unresponsive and slumped in a twisted position on the bed in an air-conditioned room.
