Grieves the ICAP painful loss of Magali Llort, mother of Fernando
With deep regret we learned that on this Thursday morning Magali Llort Ruiz, mother of the Hero of the Republic of Cuba Fernando González Llort, who, along with the other mothers and wives of Los Cinco, did a tireless work for the release of the young Cuban counter terrorists. Magali, a loving mother, didn’t like the media talking about her, instead preferred they insisted on denouncing the injustice that was committed against Los Cinco, who she said were all her children. For this reason on the Internet, there are not many references to anyone who was a vertical communist militant in her defense of the Revolution, exemplary worker who served for more than 30 years in the National Bank of Cuba, deputy of the VII Legislature of the National Assembly of the Popular Power, who received from the Chief Commander Fidel Castro Ruz, the order Mariana Grajales, on March 8, 2002. She was also a creditor of the Medal 23 August, honorary distinction of the Federation of Women Cubanas. She waited with the urgency of the years that made her vulnerable, but with the truth that made her spiritually strong and combative. Always confident that good would impose itself on evil in this time marked by hatred of an empire that is capable of chaining justice. Today we say goodbye to who was a reference to those who fight for the freedom of their children in prison unjustly for political reasons and to the solidarity movement with Cuba that embraced the cause for the release of Los Cinco. A Cuban woman who in her bregar carried the whole world not just her personal commitment but the truth of our revolutionary process. In the heart of the friends of Cuba and the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples, where we often saw her fight for the freedom of her son Fernando and his colleagues, the memory of this Cuban heir to the stretch of Mariana Grajales will always remain.
