Man Found Dead In A Mobile Home – Around 12:15 a.m, Saturday morning, a man was found dead and a woman injured after shootings occurred.
She was transported to the hospital with a wound believed to be life threatening. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and a suspect has been detained.
Authorities were attending to the woman with head injuries sustained from gunshot when they discovered the man dead inside a mobile home.
Following report from sheriff’s office, 58 year old Forrest Christopher Fielder of Chatham is charged with second degree murder in the case of a deceased man. The suspect is also charged with the use of a weapon in the commission of felony.
The decedent identity is yet to be released. And investigation is underway.
