Man Found Dead In A Plymouth Hotel Room
Police have confirmed a man was discovered dead in a Plymouth hotel room.
Officers have arrived the scene after the body of the man was found this afternoon by the staff of the Belmont Hotel in Citadel Road.
Observers reported to Plymouth Live the deceased was staying at the hotel and had returned to the building in the early this morning and that his altitude was unsimilar. The observers said a member of staff assisted the man to his room just before 7:30 a.m.
Howbeit, when staff went to check on the man at about 2 p.m this afternoon they found his body and immediately reported to the police.
A representative of Plymouth police told Plymouth Live the death was reported to them at approximately 2:32 p.m by a staff.
According to report the death is ruled “unclear” and the next of kin have been notified.
“An autopsy will be conducted later, but at this stage the case will be treated as unclear and inquiries are ongoing.”
