Matthew “Matt” Ray Lovik Death – Cause Of Death: Matthew “Matt” Ray Lovik, 35, of Charles City has passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday 11th November 2021 a the age of 35, leaving friends and family in anguish.
Matthew Ray Lovik was born on 5th September 1986 in Mason City to Michelle Jansen DeVries and David (Janice) Lovik, He attended Charles City High School where he graduated in the year 2005 and proceeded to study at NIACC. Matt worked as a Sheriff’s Department jailer in the year 2005 and later became a Deputy Sheriff from 2011 until his death.
He is survived by his daughter, Avada Lovik of Waverly; his parents, Michelle DeVries and David (Janice) Lovik; his brother, Lee Lovik; his step-brother, Justin Wojohn, all of Charles City; his nephew, Jack Lovik of Nashua; his niece, Aiden Wojohn of Charles City; his uncle, Michael Jansen of Cedar Rapids; his uncle, Scott (Mary) Lovik of Rudd; his aunt, Julie Lovik of Rochester; and his grandfather, William Jansen of Charles City.
