Today the matriarch of my father’s family has passed away, gaining her wings. We know her as BIG MOMMA the world know her as Ms. MATTIE JACKSON! You have giving us 98 years of your unprecedented life. I’m blessed that Tyme & I had gotten to embrace your last 48 hours of life with family. As they say, TIME is of the essence. And you my BLACK BEAUTIFUL QUEEN was the epitome of ESSENCE. I never realized how much we are alike until a few birthdays ago. There were some politicians who had come out, in honor of you, to speak on your pillarship. There was one thing they said, that stood out to me. “Mattie Jackson is a advocate & a fighter!” She fights for what’s right and what she wants.” You were unstoppable.
