Bobby Haddix Jr. Car Accident

Bobby Haddix Jr. Death – Cause of Death : A fatal accident which involved a Metro Nashville Public Schools Bus (MNPS) and a Chevrolet Blazer has claimed the life of a man whom the Metro police released his identity as Bobby Haddix Jr., 62, of Hermitage on Wednesday morning at 6 a.m.

According to report, around 5:45 a.m., an SUV driven by Haddix was traveling east in the 3000 block of Elm Hill Pike, when it crossed the double yellow line for an unknown reason and crashed with the school bus occupied by two adults and a 15-year-old student.

The Metro police pronounced the Hermitage man who was the only occupant of his vehicle dead at the scene. The driver of the MNPS bus and a monitor were rushed to the hospital for a medical check-up while the only student on the bus did not get injuries.

Both drivers of the involved vehicles were wearing seat belts during the accident.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
