Mimi Soltysik Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Mimi Soltysik.
Mimi Soltysik was an American political activist, he was the presidential candidate of the Socialist Party USA in 2016. He was a dedicated activist and organizer who passed away on June 28 of Liver Cancer at the age of 45.
Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.

For all who knew him, and for those who did not, we lost a real one today. Mimi Soltysik was one of the nicest, most stalwart, and profoundly solidary comrades I’ve met. The world is a much sadder and darker place without him in it; yet it is also a better place because of him.

We lost Mimi Soltysik, the former SPUSA presidential candidate, in the wee hours of this morning. He was part educator, part politician, part patient encourager of newbies… and all fire and heart. He defended all my peeps to his last breath.RIP, comrade.

Very sorry to learn of the passing of my predecessor & 2016 nominee Mimi Soltysik. Even when we disagreed, there could never be any doubt that his heart was completely & forever with the working class & with a belief that a world beyond capitalism was possible. Rest in power.

A true comrade, Mimi Soltysik, passed away early this morning.My condolences go out to everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him, especially his family.
He dedicated his life to changing this world for the better and he will be greatly missed.

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that Comrade Mimi Soltysik passed away today. The Maggie Phair Institute would like to thank him for his work and dedication not only to the MPI, but to the broader movements for social justice as well. His love for his fellow people was matched only by his desire to see that all of us had the right to live in a better world, a world which the working class is building daily in our struggles. In his honor and memory, we will continue that fight.
CDSP is deeply saddened this morning to learn of the passing of our comrade Mimi Soltysik. Mimi was SP-USA’s 2016 Presidential candidate. He was a wonderfully kind and generous person, and outstanding comrade. He gave freely of his time to talk with members old and new, and to talk to people about the party. He always brought a cheerfulness and joy to any space he was in. We will miss him, the movement will miss him. Our sincerest condolences to his loved ones.
Rest In Power, Emidio Mimi Soltysik. Komrade Enternal. Kollaborator Extrordinaire. Among many, many other things, Mimi was an early inspiration to a young aktion kitten, and even wrote the first three Aktion Kat Komix. He inspired and motivated us and so many others to do our thang, to be more thoughtful, and smash the system. We love you komrade. <3 We wouldn’t be here without you. We will celebrate you in the ways you live on in each of us you touched during your time in this dimension..
