My heart goes out to Kate and the entire Burke family today. Morgan was so much more than just an athletic director to all of us. He was a mentor and a friend. My life will be forever changed because of his impact. I will miss him dearly, but I will never forget his legacy.

I was tough on Morgan Burke. The dude loved Purdue. He brought Joe Tiller here and brokered the transition from Gene Keady to Matt Painter. He made some good facility improvements and truly cared for his student athletes. RIP

Morgan Burke was one of the first people I met here at Purdue and always loved visiting with and traveling with him.During a foreign trip to Spain, we did a LONG walking tour of Madrid together and got to speak with him for hours.
Just a great person & will be very missed.

Rest In Peace to Morgan Burke who passed away at the age of 68 today.Burke was a Brebeuf Jesuit and Purdue alum, so for me personally, he was a real life trailblazer before my eyes of what I wanted to become. He was an admirable man and will he missed.

there are a lot of NCAA schools that don’t treat their cheerleaders as real student-athletes. Purdue was a place where I was respected & treated as one & that was a huge part of my decision to go there. That’s thanks to the standard Morgan Burke set as AD. RIP & Hail Purdue
