Director General of Health Affairs in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Executive Committee, Dr. Wael bin Hamzah Mutair, inspected health services in health facilities in the central region, after the arrival of the first group of pilgrims for this year 1442 AH, accompanied by a number of health leaders during the tour. Dr. Wael Mutair explained that the tour included the follow-up of health services provided to pilgrims at the Ajyad General Emergency Hospital, and the health teams present at the optical sorting points in the central region, indicating that all health cadres working in these facilities are at a high level of readiness to provide health and emergency services to pilgrims, stressing the application of the highest standards. Health safety and global preventive measures, to ensure the safety of pilgrims until their safe return to their residence, God willing, calling on all pilgrims to adhere to all preventive measures such as physical distancing, wearing a mask and maintaining personal hygiene. For his part, Hamad bin Fayhan Al-Otaibi, spokesman for Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region Health, stated that the Haram emergency centers operate 24 hours a day in providing health care to visitors and pilgrims of the Grand Mosque, and all departments in hospitals and health centers operate according to a plan that is consistent with the flow and working hours in a way that does not affect on the quality of work.
