Lagos state governor, His excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu is committed in making sure that all the roads in the state are repaired and upgraded. Since he came into the office, his major focus has been on improving the standard of living of all Lagosians, starting with daily challenges of Lagos traffic and its causes.
Sanwo-Olu in the company of Vice President of Nigeria Oluyemi Osibanjo, Lagos state deputy governor, Femi Hamzat and others inspected have also carried out inspection works that will bring an end to Apapa gridlock which over the years has seemed impossible to solve.
Gov. Sanwo-Olu and His deputy, Dr Hamzat recently inspected the Agege-Pen cinemas road. Rehabilitation commenced immediately after the inspection. Speaking on the road, Sanwo-Olu via his Instagram account shared below message.
We are committed to massive infrastructural development in Lagos state.
We are committed to alleviating the lives of citizens through better roads and effective transportation system.
And until we have achieved all these and many more, we will not rest on our oars.
We went on an inspection tour of the ongoing maintenance/rehabilitation works on the Agege-Pen cinema road.
In the past couple of weeks, intensive works have started on several roads across the metropolis by the Lagos state Public Works Corporation.
Construction would also resume on the abandoned Pen cinema bridge, as the contractor is being remobilized back to the site.
