Sarah Hegazi Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Sarah Hegazi.
Sarah Hegazi is an Egyptian activist but based in Canada she was arrested and tortured just because she raised a rainbow flag at a concert in Cairo Egypt, she committed suicide on June 14 at the age of 30.
Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
I found out this morning that Sarah Hegazi had passed and had likely taken her own life. She was by all definitions of the word, a survivor. She shared her story with me and I failed her.

This cute little angel ended her life today. Her name is Sarah Hegazi, she’s an egyptain LGBT+ & woman’s rights activist. She was arrested because she raised the rainbow flag in a concert. She had to flee the country & was granted asylum in Canada. We need universal protection

Sarah Hegazi was imprisoned in 2017 for raising a rainbow flag in Cairo. She was held in solitary confinement, sexually assaulted, and tortured.Sarah committed suicide yesterday… But the abuse and trauma she suffered from killed her a little everyday.
