Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
Heartbroken. I don’t have the words to properly express this loss, but yesterday my sister lost her life in a tragic accident. If you knew Sarah you know she was a bright light and a force in this world. She was wickedly smart, fearless, fun, adventurous, a talented artist, and as long as I can remember she had to stop and pet every dog we came across. She loved animals and people with equal parts of her heart, and spent much of her life advocating for both. Sarah left such a positive impact on this world and I know she will be remembered and deeply missed by many.
Incredibly heart broken to hear of the death of Sarah Leyrer, a fierce advocate for worker rights and social justice. Workers in our city and state are in a better place because of her and she will be deeply missed. I had the honor to fight along side her while she was at Columbia Legal Services while she fought for farm worker rights, and knew workers were in good hands in Seattle when she went to work for Office of Labor Standards. Here she is brining truth to the halls of the Capital. Rest in power, Sarah
