We are deeply saddened to hear of the recent death of Siobhan Anne Walsh. She was born in Woodlawn, NY to Christopher and Breeda (Bridget) Walsh. She is survived by her mother Breeda, brother Brian, sister Jennifer (Andrew), husband Brian Parker, nieces Sarah, Elizabeth, nephew Owen and many aunts, uncles, cousins in the US and Ireland. She is predeceased by her father Chris. Siobhan was a bright light in this world. She spent her early years at St. Barnabas Elementary School and Cardinal Spellman High School. After graduating with a Bachelors from Columbia University and a Masters from Long Island University, Siobhan embarked on a career in education that took her from New York to Ireland and back. She was beloved by her students and colleagues. Siobhan had a passion for history and the arts. She was an avid reader and loved poetry, theater and a lively debate. She loved to travel and spend time with friends and family. She was fiercely loyal, generous, and had a heart of gold. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
