A number of residents of Al-Sayer neighborhood, north of Taif, expressed their fear of snakes attacking and infiltrating their homes, and said that the deadly reptiles made them lose their sleep and terrified their families.

Abdullah Al-Qathami told Okaz: “We were deprived of the pleasure of sleeping because of the snakes that attack our homes due to the negligence in combating them on the part of the concerned authorities. Many neighbors left their homes to other neighborhoods in search of comfort and distance from the terror caused by the snakes.” He added that many building owners stumbled upon investment due to the tenants' unwillingness to live.

His neighbor Muhammad al-Maqati agreed with him and said: “The neighborhood in which he lives also faces many problems, such as water leaks, which have become a suitable environment for flying and crawling insects and frogs. We fear epidemic diseases that threaten us and our children.”

Al-Sayer residents, through "Okaz", expressed their fears and forced to abandon their homes because of snakes, insects and frogs, and they hope for the intervention of the concerned authorities to combat reptiles decisively and finally.
