Ted Horn Obituary – Death: The security guard who was killed Friday at the East St. Louis Bank has been identified by authorities.
56-year-old Ted T. Horn, of St. Clair County, a security guard at East St. Louis Bank was shot and killed during a robbery at First Bank, 350 Riverpark Drive on Friday.
Horn was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot injuries.
Jaylan D. Quinn and Andrew R. Brinkley have been charged in a two-count criminal complaint in the deadly First Bank robbery. FBI Springfield sends our deepest condolences to the family of security guard Ted Horn whose life was senselessly taken in this viscous act of violence.

Jaylan D. Quinn, 22, was charged with bank robbery resulting in death and Andrew Brinkley, 19, was charged with bank robbery. The charges stem from the robbery about 4:00pm Friday of a First Bank at 350 Riverpark Drive in which a security guard, Ted Horn, 56, was shot to death. The two suspects are in the custody of the authorities. An investigation is ongoing.
