“Okaz” learned from its own sources that great moves have taken place in the past few days to solve the dilemma of the accumulated problems and major issues on the Al-Ahly club with the International Federation of Football Associations.
Where the sources reported that the first steps that were taken, was the dispensation of the office of Gian Paolo Monterrey, with whom the club management contracted last September, as soon as the administration assumed its work duties, in order to provide legal advice in sports issues.
The sources stated that the moves began to contract with a new legal consultancy office, to look into the club's issues with FIFA, and to find appropriate solutions for them in a way that guarantees the removal of the club from harsh rulings, whether by preventing registration or deducting points, etc.
The club had closed two cases during the past few days, by paying all the late financial dues to striker Marco Amaral, and paying 16 million riyals to former professional Marco Marin.
