The Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, Dr. Mustafa Baljoun, confirmed that the ambulance teams affiliated with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the region succeeded in restoring the pulse for a pilgrim in the sixth decade of life of Egyptian nationality.
And Beljoun explained that the medical deportation, command and control room of the authority received a report at six thirty in the evening yesterday, stating that there was a case suffering from fainting and stopping the heart and breathing in the eastern square, “the women’s chapels” in the Grand Mosque in Mecca, and upon the arrival of the medical team, it was found that there was a woman lying on the ground.
Beljoun indicated that the ambulance team immediately intervened according to the protocol followed for such cases, and began CPR until the pulse returned, and the patient was transferred to Ajyad General Hospital, where she was placed under intensive care.
