The commander of the 83rd Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Adel Al-Shibh, confirmed in a statement to the Yemeni Armed Forces Media Center that the Yemeni National Army forces have completed the liberation of the ancient city of Damt completely, after they were able to liberate the strategic Jabal Nasa, Al-Maasar, the village of Ramah, and Jabal Al-Tuhamy overlooking the Najd Qurain area. and the villages of Beit al-Yazidi and al-Arfaf, amid a widespread collapse and great human and material losses among the Houthi coup militias.

Brigadier General Al-Shaybah added that the Yemeni army forces made qualitative progress in the Jeben district and became besieging the Houthi militia in the city from several directions, indicating that the battles resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries among the Houthi militia, in addition to other losses in combat equipment, including: Bmb tank and a number of kits, including a kit carrying a 14-gauge Katyusha vehicle, 2 and 23 calibers.
