We lost a good friend. Officer Tom Kline assisted in a drug take back for Drop the Needle a couple of years ago, and also connected our organization with larger drug take back days in Milwaukee. Tom was a community liaison officer for years and more recently worked with the homeless population in Milwaukee. He was truly a caring and understanding person, and will be deeply missed. Rest peacefully, Officer Kline, we are grateful to have known you
Officer Tom Kline has made an indelible impact on the Milwaukee community and on our hearts. He was a generous friend and ardent downtown champion.
We are deeply grieving Tom’s passing, alongside his family, friends and his colleagues at the Milwaukee Police Department. Tom is already deeply missed and will always be remembered and loved.
Tom is pictured here in 2018, when he was recognized with Milwaukee Downtown’s “Downtown Champion Award” for his role in helping reduce chronic homelessness. We are forever grateful for his partnership and friendship.
