I never got to meet Trevor Moore, but man I always wanted too. His skits got me through so much growing up. I still quote them to this day. My heart hurts, more so for his family and friends. R.I.P. Thanks for all the good times.
Words cannot express how saddened and shocked I am by the news just now that comedian, actor & producer Trevor Moore has passed away, aged 41. For those unfamiliar, he founded an American comedy group ‘The Whitest Kids U Know’ in 1999, whose incredibly funny – and sometimes controversial – sketches came to my attention, when fans of the cable show uploaded them to YouTube back in 2007. Despite being a show for TV, it was clear straight away that they had created sketches that were perfect for the new YouTube & online video era. These clips went on to be seen by millions worldwide. I always wanted to have the chance to one day tell Trevor in person, how much I respected & appreciated his craft… so today I find myself feeling absolutely gutted knowing I’ll now never be able to. So instead, I wish to lay tribute by sharing an example of his amazing work. My heart and mind goes out to his family, friends and of course members of TWKUK who were all so brilliant together Love. Respect. Empathy.-Myles x
My friend Trevor Moore died yesterday and I don’t 100% know how to feel. I know that anyone who ever met him would feel the same way. In addition to being just the funniest person, he was also the best person. I met him when he hired me to work on his show, but he became more than my boss, he became my friend. We spent so many nights just talking and laughing about every imaginable conspiracy theory. It’s funny too because people are wondering what the accident was, making a conspiracy theory about it. And I know that he would’ve loved that. No one would’ve enjoyed it more than him. I miss you very much Trevor. And don’t worry I’ll spread the missinformation about you. I know it’s what you would’ve wante
