Walter Cleven Vayson, Jr. Death – Cause of Death : A wrong-way car accident on Sunday has claimed the life of a 50-year-old Oakland man identified by the California Highway Patrol as Walter Cleven Vayson, Jr., and injured four others. According to the officials.
Vayson was traveling in a gray Toyota RAV4, towards incoming traffic along Avenue 12 near Road 36 1/2 when his vehicle collided with a white BMW head-on.
The officials that reported to the scene pronounced the driver of the RAV4 who got major injuries dead. Other victims of the accident were all rushed to the hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Vayson, the only occupant of his vehicle is believed to be driving under influence during the time of the accident, stated by the officials.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
