The “We Can” volunteer team was able to highlight the efforts and successes of people with special needs, after they decided to establish their own volunteer team and use it to serve this group. The social activist, Amra Qumzanati, worked to establish this group and, in a few years, made it an icon of volunteer work.

Amra says: In the past years, and through volunteer boys and girls, the team was able to present great achievements for people with special needs and deliver them to people after they were buried and not shown to anyone, and among those achievements was the honoring of 6 world champions in our team who achieved 23 various medals in the Los Angeles Olympics Special event in 2015 AD for people with determination (disabilities) with two coaches of the Saudi national team in Al-Irada Park in Jeddah, sponsored by the Jeddah Municipality.

And he published hundreds of paintings in the squares and streets of Jeddah for the Kingdom’s team for people with special abilities (disabilities) in the Los Angeles Olympics 2015, which won 23 various medals under the auspices of the Jeddah Municipality.

In addition to participating in the first forum for people with special abilities (disabilities) in the Jeddah Municipality.

The team also organized the International Disability Day 2016 event at the Civil Aviation Academy in Jeddah, with the participation of 5 persons with disabilities who reviewed their achievements in front of the guests, faculty and students.

The team worked on a unique initiative where they trained the blind to massage the feet, and participated in the “We Can” pavilion in the International Exhibition of Sports and Fitness in Jeddah and presented the World Cup that the Saudi national football team achieved for people with disabilities 3 times in 2006 AD, 2010 AD and 2014 AD and displayed the achievements of the champions The world in swimming, Captain Abdullah Al-Ghamdi and Captain Abdullah Bashauri.

There is also a corner for relaxing massage for the blind, under the supervision of trainer Hosni Buqas.
