We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of PCF grantee, Willy Thomas, who was an unstoppable force for pangolin conservation in Nigeria. Willy had a supernatural ability to bring people together – something pangolins need so badly.

We lost a great friend, ally and beautiful human today. Willy Thomas was more than life, a passionate conservationist, artist and media guru. We will miss him so but we cherish his accomplishments into the illegal trade and conservation of west Africa’s pangolins.
