Woman Found Dead After Being Struck By A Train
Toronto police reported that a woman has been found dead after she was hit by a Up Express train near Weston Go/Up.
Emergency crews responded to a call to Weston Road and Black creek Drive just before 6 a.m.
They located the woman with “very serious” wounds. The victim was later declared dead at the scene.
According to Toronto Police Service spokesperson, Const. David Hopkinson, the death will be investigated as suspicious.
Up Express service was suspended due to the wreck.
In a tweet, UP Express stated that : bus shuttle service is available between Union station and Pearson Airport.
TTC bus service is also available at Weston station and subway service is available from Bloor station.
