Marcus Key Death – Cause Of Death: 14-year-old Marcus Key has been identified by his family as the seventh-grader that was shot and killed in a shooting that took place at Fourth of July Park, located at 702 W. Mountain St., in Kernersville on Wednesday 17th November 2021.
According to a report released by the police, the 14-year-old was shot in the head and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. An investigation is still ongoing at the moment, as Police have not identified any suspects in the case and what led to the shooting.
A GoFundme has been created to help support the funeral expenses of Marcus, the fundraiser had a set goal of $5,000 goal and $7,525 has been raised so far. George Evans donated the highest money $1,000. According to the page which says “please try and help my sister in law at this time due to the tragic loss of her son tonight taken by a selfish person who didn’t think about anything but themselves at the time the killed my nephew at the fourth of July park tonight.” He will be missed.
