The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested 27 violators of the environmental law (21 citizens and 6 residents of Sudanese nationality), who committed violations of grazing 629 camels and 426 heads of sheep, in places where grazing is prohibited in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve and the Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Reserve. Royal, Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve, and King Salman Royal Reserve.

The spokesman for the Special Forces for Environmental Security, Colonel Abdul Rahman Al-Otaibi, explained that the regular procedures were applied against the violators, stressing that the penalty for violating grazing is 500 riyals for each body of camels, and the penalty for grazing sheep is a fine of up to 200 riyals for each head.

He urged the speaker to report any violation that constitutes an assault on the environment or wildlife at the number 911 in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and 999 and 996 in the rest of the Kingdom.
