A shooting in South Shore neighborhood has left an adult male injured at about 11:00 a.m., reports say.
Investigators say the incident happened Southside in the 8300 block of Stony Island Avenue. An occupant of a Dodge fired shots as he drove past the scene. The 30-year-old woman sustained gunshot wounds to the back and shoulder, and a 34-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to the stomach.
Responding officers located the two victims and transported them to Jackson Park Hospital, where the woman later succumbed to her inquires and the man was listed in a critical condition.
No arrest has been made.
