Krystal Lynn Franklin Death – Cause of Death – A 33 year old mom of seven was killed in what they are calling a potential drive-by shooting. Authorities have positively identified the victim as Krystal Lynn Franklin of Jasper. Investigations have led the police to believe that the shooting happened around 1:20 Monday morning, 15th of November 2021.
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office said in the 200 block of Benny Short Road. According to authorities, 30 year old Jacob Aaron Thompson is charged with Capital Murder and Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling. The police are also looking at a person of interest.
Krystal was outside smoking a cigarette when the shooting happened. Some bullets also hit the home, nearly striking two people who were inside sleeping. Krystal was staying at the home while her boyfriend did some maintenance there, investigation revealed. We extend our deepest condolences.
