A 34-year-old man was found shot to death at a playground in East Harlem Wednesday night, New York City Police Department says.
The incident happened at about 8:40 p.m. in the playground located in Robert F. Wagner Houses NYCHA complex in Upper Manhattan. Responding officials located a male only identified to be 34-year-old, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head at the scene. He was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on arrival. His identity is pending next of kin’s notification.
NYPD say no arrest has been made as of Thursday morning and investigation remains active.
