The joint field campaigns to follow up and control violators of residence, work and border security regulations, which took place in all regions of the Kingdom, for the period from 22 to 9/28/1444 corresponding to 13 to 4/19/2023, resulted in the seizure of 16,293 violators, including 8,717 violators of the residence law. And 5,544 violators of the border security law, and 2,032 violators of the labor law.
A total of 1,817 people were arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom, 30% of whom were Yemeni nationals, 67% were Ethiopians, and 3% were other nationalities. Also, 26 people were arrested for trying to cross the border outside the Kingdom in an irregular way, and 8 involved were arrested.
