Investigation is active after an adult male and two others were shot Thursday afternoon in a restaurant’s parking lot.
Officials with the Hercules Police Department responded to a shooting report at about 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Zaiqa Restaurant, at 800 block of Willow Avenue. Arriving officers located a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple injuries consistent with gunshot at the scene. The man was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
According to preliminary investigations, two unknown men approached the victim and an altercation ensued which escalated to shooting. The victim then ran towards Zaiqa restaurant. And the alleged suspects fled in a white sedan driven by a third man. Hercules police was later alerted of two gunshot victims dropped off at the Sutter Hospital in Vallejo. The 19-year-old victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were taken to another hospital in stable condition.
Hercules police say a vehicle sustained multiple gunshot damage and two businesses also sustained gunshot damage from the Hercules shooting. But no bystanders were injured in the incident.
