Cody Rebischke Death – Cause of Death – According to police reports, a 33-year-old man identified as Cody Rebischk was killed in an officer related incident in North Bend. Officer James Acquire was identified as the Snoqualmie/North Bend police officer who fatally shot and killed Rebischke on Tuesday night, 16th of November 2021. The officer joined the Eastside police department five months ago after serving as a police officer in Eastern Washington.
The team which included 13 law enforcement agencies and is responsible for investigating the shooting. The identity of the victim was revealed by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office on Friday, 19th of November 2021. Rebischke died from a gunshot wound to the chest and his death was ruled a homicide.
A police release disclosed that officer Acquire joined the Snoqualmie/North Bend Police Department in June after working as a police officer in Clarkston, Asotin County, from February 2018 to May 2021.
